I really like the feeling of a workout that mixes bands and weights, as they work our muscles in different ways. Both are obviously effective forms of resistance, but whereas weights offer only downward resistance (due to gravity), bands can give us resistance in any direction (opposite the direction we are pulling or pushing in). Plus, weights obviously have a fixed amount of resistance based on their weight, whereas the bands will give us more resistance as we stretch them more. I want to see really explosive work on the box jumps, a super tight core in the shoulder taps and banded glute raise to clams!
