The focus of this workout is weighted exercises using dumbbells for both upper and lower body moves, finishing up with three HIIT rounds. One of the huge advantages of dumbbells versus barbells is that we involve our stabilizing muscles. Since we are moving free weights through the air without the length of the barbell bar for stability, we need to control the weights using our own muscle. Keep this in mind as you work here! Work with control and try your best to work evenly between your arms, moving at the same rate and with the same range of motion.
